Regretting local business support! There is no “CASH ONLY” sign BEFORE YOU walk in. Only two smaller signs, one under the register & one behind. “$28.50 please.” Where do I tap & pay? “Oh, cash only. “. I have $25. “ Which you put back?” Instead of spotting me $3.50, they wanted me to put bagels back! Wow. That floored me! Aren’t small businesses supposed to work with you? Yes, I’m out of town, but I would not be there if the description stated “CASH ONLY.” The parking is a big issue if you’re handicapped. 2/3 sized parking spots, no handicap accessible spots means it will take twice as long to maneuver without hitting pedestrians and parked cars. I have a permanent placard because I literally can’t move my neck in time to avoid pedestrians & cars aimed directly for me. This business has been dinged before on this issue, and they’ve posted a sign INSIDE that says they’re here to help handicapped. Wrong! Just do the right thing and get the property owners to decrease the number of spots.

I’ve been in here plenty of times and while their bagels are good their prices are becoming ridiculous.Tell me why I have to pay an extra 10c at a bagel place to get my bagel cut, or I have to pay 50 cents to get my bagel warmed? Their price gouging is insane and they often change the price right in front of you. Their employees are great, but the owners are rude.

Absolute gem and some of the best bagels on the West Coast. Bring cash and dont miss the donut store next door either. Great to support small family businesses like this. 10/10 recommend

Fresh bagels with a wide variety to choose from. Had the butter toasted sesame bagels with veggie cream cheese. They were perfectly toasted and generously buttered, and absolutely delicious. Cash only. They were out of hot chocolate. Highly recommend to try this place.

Attention that they are a CASH ONLY establishment! P.L. Bagels is a no-frills local spot for fresh bagels. I recommend the poppy seed with chive cream cheese. They aren’t the biggest bagels I’ve ever had, but the price is right. I will be returning!
